What is EiB?

Business fluency for technical minds.

Engineers in Business is a new organization at UT Austin focused on preparing STEM students for both business-oriented and technical career paths. Students can explore career opportunities they may not have known existed and gain the skills and knowledge needed to become strong applicants. Those who remain in technical fields can develop the leadership, project management, and business skills needed to advance their careers.

Our goal is to help members develop the skills, confidence, and network to leverage their technical backgrounds in the competitive business world, while building strong relationships with like-minded individuals through philanthropy and social events.

What is EiB?

Engineering matters when it reaches people.

A strong technical solution is only useful if it can be adopted, delivered, and sustained. Good business is how that happens.

EiB helps students connect technical thinking with the decisions, communication, and execution needed to bring useful ideas to the people they are meant to serve.
