Why we exist
A solution has little value if it cannot reach the people who need it. Business provides the strategy, resources, communication, and delivery needed to make a strong engineering idea useful in practice.
Through workshops, team problem-solving, practitioner conversations, and peer leadership, EiB members learn how technical decisions connect to users, organizations, markets, and implementation.
Principles
These principles guide meetings, shared work, and how members work with one another.
Before analyzing a solution, we identify the user, the need, the constraints, and the decision that must be made.
A recommendation should be clear enough for someone to evaluate and act on.
We share context, give direct feedback, and make space for different strengths.
Research, conversation, and testing should be able to change our initial assumptions.
Member experience
Members learn in workshops, apply ideas with a team, meet practitioners, and contribute to the community.

Practical sessions on strategy, markets, finance, products, operations, and communication.
Small groups working through open-ended questions with clear responsibilities and deadlines.
Candid access to people building, operating, investing, and leading across industries.
Social rituals, peer mentorship, and room to be more than a résumé around one another.
